Avila Climbing Co. was founded by friends Luis, Robin, and Giulianna. They grew up in Florida with a passion for adventure and the outdoors. Our namesake Avila comes from El Ávila a famous mountain in Caracas, Venezuela, where Luis and Giulianna were born. The Alpine ibex on our logo is inspired by Robin’s roots in Switzerland.
